Biohack Your MIND!

The way we think determines the quality of our life whether it’s sad, happy, and contented. Happy, optimistic, positive thoughts, emotions, and feelings generate a zing in our system which makes the blood flow freely and heartbeat joyously. They create a spring in our feet and spur us to action.

Our actions are the practical manifestations of our thoughts.

It is quite clear, therefore, that we must biohack our thoughts in the way we think in order to create happiness and sense of fulfillment in our life. A great thing about our brain is that it willingly adopts any changes that we bring about in our thinking patterns.

WAYS TO BIOHACK YOUR THOUGHTS

  1. Change Your Thoughts With Positive Affirmations

Affirmations are not always positive. They can be negative as well. The hexes created by the witches are negative affirmations.

The real truth is that most people are given to making negative affirmations. When you constantly think that you are not going to succeed in something, it is a negative affirmation. Affirmations, both negative and positive impact on the neurological functioning of the brain.

Positive affirmations have a sacred and spiritual force about them. Let’s be clear about creating positive affirmations. They shouldn’t be normative or weak.

Thoughts like I ‘should’, ‘ought to’ or ‘abstain from’ are normative.

Now to biohack your mind to think in a positive way you need to be constantly saying positive things daily. A simple way of starting is by simply waking up and saying today will be a great day.

  1. Change Your Thoughts By Counting Your Blessings

More people take their joys and blessings for granted and start grumbling about what they do not have; or, when they are faced with problems and troubles. You just need to think of those who are less fortunate than you. Or, think of certain situations that could’ve been worse than it is now.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It will turn your denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity.

  1. Allow Yourself To Let Go and Be Playful

Kids are known for the innocence and simplicity of the mind. They soon forget their quarrels with their friends and start playing together once again. This is one reason that generally they are always happy and smiling. Translated into the language of the adults, we should biohack our minds to forget and forgive.

“Forgive and Forget, but never forget to forgive. You may find a happier heart is the key to a happier life.”–Mahatma Ghandi

  1. Seek Happiness In The Present

You will not want to associate happiness with future events. Like, I will be happy when things happen this way. This is like postponing your happiness to an unsure future. Try biohacking your thoughts to try to postpone your sorrow to some future moment as much as you can. The time to be happy is now because yesterday has already passed and you cannot be sure that tomorrow will bring any happiness.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”– Mahatma Gandhi

BIOHACKING YOUR THOUGHTS

Based on recent decades of neuroscience findings, it appears, to the extent that you become a conscious participant in these processes, you are more effectively direct the changes and parts of you involved in change. In other words, your success in changing any interfering behavior or thought patterns depends on…a conscious you.

Now, you can biohack information about you that is soft-wired, such as old thoughts and beliefs and behaviors, however, you cannot biohack your hard-wiring. For example:

  • You cannot change the fact your body needs oxygen, food, and water to live.

  • You cannot change that you are driven to meaningfully contribute in life and connect with life around you.

  • You cannot change that you also have an emotional-psychological drive to survive. To experience yourself as a unique source of thought, choices, creative expression, value, contribution, and so on.

You can, however, biohack your brain and the standards or beliefs that form your thoughts.

Your standards are set by your habitual thoughts. Your thoughts reflect your beliefs. Your actions are the best indicators of what you want and believe.

Biohacking Your Thoughts Applies In Every Area Of Your Life

Your choices reflect your thoughts. Your thoughts, by the level of chemical “feel-good” feelings they produce, communicate what you want to your subconscious, and your emotional responses communicate what you really, really want.

You are always in the thinking process of becoming what you are most thinking because..You thoughts shape your actions.

In a way, you become what you do. What makes this good news is that it means you can biohack your brain, actions, and life more than you can imagine. Your subconscious goes by what you really, really want, and fires and wires the neurons in your brain accordingly.

The main issue is that certain choices, which you need to be consciously making, are being controlled by your subconscious.

Your Thoughts Are Your Best Leverage To Biohack Your Life

You need a way, conscious way of observing yourself and your own life, a conscious method of regularly imparting life-energizing thoughts into your mind as often as possible. You need a way of thinking that consciously embraces what is good for your mind and body, and other essential aspects of your life, your relational health, financial independence, self-actualization, etc.

  • You have access to miracle making inner resources to consciously think, create, imagine and act wisely.

  • You are fully equipped to manage, and consciously direct, certain subconscious energies of your body and, as captain, guide the ship of your life in the direction of your highest aspirations.

  • You can learn to associate “disgust” with substances or activities that you previously associated with feel-good feelings. You can conscious thoughts to condition your mind and body to be “repelled” by what is not good for your mind, body, emotions, and spirit.

It’s time to start changing processes which invite you to participate actively and consciously in making new sense of your life and experiences in ways that produce optimal emotional states within you. It’s up to you to take the reins of re-writing, creating your self-concept and life story.
