Are YOU Glutathione Deficient?

The incident of auto-immune diseases and conditions has risen dramatically in recent years! We are exposed to more toxins, chemicals, EMF pollution, stressors, pharmaceutical drugs, lack of sleep, sedentary lifestyle, nutrient depleted foods, alcohol use, etc. more than ever, depleting our glutathione. More than 100 difference diseases are linked to autoimmune functions where the body is attacking it's own cells, organs, tissues, etc. caused much distress, pain, suffering and inflammation. But even if you have not been diagnosed with an auto-immune condition, you are also suffering from a reduction in glutathione production

Research has shown that people suffering from autoimmune disease tend to always have low levels of glutathione. Having optimal levels of this ‘master antioxidant,’ however, helps to modulate immune system reactions and alleviate autoimmune disorders.

What Is Glutathione?

Glutathione is a Master Antioxidant the body produces abundantly when we are very young, but declines rapidly as we mature and age.. It is a powerful detoxifier that binds to toxins and helps to eliminate them. It is also critical for immune function, and for controlling inflammation and oxidative damage. Glutathione is naturally produced in the body from the amino acids cysteine, glycine and glutamine.

According to over 170,000 studies on Pubmed.gov (National Institute of Health's library of research and studies) Oxidative stress is the main underlying cause of over 220 diseases! Besides helping to alleviate autoimmune disease, glutathione can be instrumental in helping to prevent diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases and many types of cancer. The stressors listed above are constantly reducing our supply.

How Can We Get More Glutathione?

Foods rich in B-complex vitamins – such as grass-fed beef liver, organic pinto beans, lentils and garbanzo beans – can aid the methylation process, which is essential to the production of glutathione. You can boost glutathione levels somewhat by eating plentiful amounts of sulfur-containing foods such as broccoli, garlic, onions, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and kale.

N-acetyl-cysteine, called NAC, is a biologically available form of cysteine that is used to rapidly turned into intracellular glutathione. Alpha Lipoic Acid is also helpful to reverse depletion of glutathione caused by stress. Milk Thistle extract can also help increase glutathione. But is it enough to fight the 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 free radicals we are exposed to daily?

It is Difficult to Supplement!!

Glutathione is a very large molecule and often difficult to supplement as it is hard to get into the cells, plus it is also expensive. Many try I.V. injections, or nano-technology to reduce the size to push it into the cells. Liposomal as a topic cream or gel is also tried to get it into the cells more efficiently.

But what IF you could turn ON your bodies natural ability to naturally increase your own glutathione production by 300%?

Now you can! Studies have proven that daily activation of our Nrf2 pathway can increase our bodies own natural glutathione production by 300%! Nrf2, or nuclear transcription factor 2, activates the transcription of over 500 genes with cytoprotection for increased detoxification of xenobiotics and toxic metals. It produces major anti-inflammatory changes and antioxidant actions and improves mitochondrial function.

According to a study done by Washington State University in 2015 on Pubmed.gov (the National Institute of Health's library of research and studies), "raising Nrf2 (nuclear transcription factor 2) activates the transcription of over 500 genes in the human genome, most of which have cytoprotective functions. Nrf2 produces cytoprotection by detoxification mechanisms leading to increased detoxification and excretion of both organic xenobiotics and toxic metals;"

"Raising Nrf2 has been found to prevent and/or treat a large number of chronic inflammatory diseases in animal models and/or humans including various cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, lung diseases, diseases of toxic liver damage, cancer (prevention), diabetes/metabolic syndrome/obesity, sepsis, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, HIV/AIDS and epilepsy. Lesser evidence suggests that raising Nrf2 may lower 16 other diseases."

This study also states that "Nrf 2 May well be the most extraordinary therapeutic and preventive

breakthrough in the history of medicine!
